President Obama has just re-released his original budget and it still includes massive and unprecedented new government spending that will rapidly move America toward socialism. This current budget includes more than $1.6 trillion in new taxes and will balloon our 2009 deficit to more than $1.75 trillion (3.5 times the largest deficit in American history). By next year, federal government spending could equal 40% of the entire gross domestic product of our nation -- doubling in just two years and pushing America into the same proportions as socialist Europe!

Stop The Budget Lies!
Even worse is the fact that Obama isn’t cutting the budget at all! That’s right. Forget what you are hearing from the media—even Republican leaders—THERE ARE NO CUTS IN THE BUDGET! All of his supposed “cuts” were in his original budget. Obama did nothing more than repackage his bloated budget--ignoring Congress’ scant cuts.

As an American citizen, I oppose the current effort led by President Obama and Congressional Democrats to rapidly increase government spending. These actions will not stimulate the economy but rather burden our nation with an unprecedented and unacceptable debt load. We must stop reckless government spending. In addition:

I oppose any new taxes or rollbacks of recent tax rate cuts

I oppose the so-called "Climate Revenue" "emission allowances" in the President’s budget which are in reality an oppressive CO2 tax

I oppose other far-left and socialistic elements that comprise the centerpiece of President Obama’s agenda and I am joining with hundreds of thousands of citizens in a patriotic, idea-based, conservative resistance against this move toward socialism.
